Is making good choices a discipline? Or is there a system? Maybe using the right system is a discipline?
What was once called conviction is now called worldview. Conviction has a tough connotation. The secret is to be convicted in yourself, so you don’t get convicted in a court if someone else’s jurisdiction.
Proper discipline comes out of right conviction.
Self-esteem has replaced self-assurance. The former can be achieved by justifying one’s self, even in a thing that is wrong. The later comes from being in alignment with an outside and objective source of direction.
No one wants to feel influenced anymore though. Least of all by God.
